I was thinking about that story in the news– where a college football player has a surprise lunch with an autistic child… have you seen it?
Anyway, it made me think about how much better our world could be if we each made a daily commitment to make someone’s day. Can you imagine how special that little boy must have felt? Here’s a link to the story, just in case you haven’t seen it.
Have you made anyone’s day lately? Has someone made yours?
Here's to making it better!
Yes I know....yesterday's blog was lame, but the new movie "Sully" is anything but. I saw this on opening day and here's what stood out for me.
First, it is a true story - which always make the story line more impactful and second - it was amazing to hear the back story - all the things that Sully and his first officer had to endure trying to prove to the FAA that landing on The Hudson was not an option.
If any of you have ever been in a plane when there was a bird strike, you can probably relate. I've also been through a similar event, although fortunately we made it back to the airport.
I was a flight attendant in the early 80's on a 737 twenty minutes out of Tampa, Fl headed to Houston. We were at ten thousand feet when we struck birds…
Recently, during a real estate designation certification class, there was much discussion about blogging and how it could be good for my overall business.
So I started thinking about it and decided that I would give it a go to see if "perhaps", "just maybe" that might be true.
So then I started thinking about what the heck I would write about, and "hmmp" I already experienced writers block and I haven't even started yet!
So after a few more days.....
....here you go......"Just me sharing stuff about life".
My life topic today: ......sorry - I'm stuck.
I'm gonna sleep on it....I'll be back.
Our new listing on Singer Island will not disappoint. Please take five to enjoy this awesome video. https://player.vimeo.com/video/173812580
ORLANDO, Fla. – July 21, 2016 – Florida's housing market reported higher median prices and fewer days to a contract in June, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®. Closed sales of single-family homes statewide totaled 27,086 last month – slightly higher (0.4%) than the June 2015 level of 26,973 closed sales.
"Florida's housing market is experiencing tight supply and pent-up demand," said 2016 Florida Realtors®President Matey H. Veissi, broker and co-owner of Veissi & Associates in Miami. "That's affecting the pace of sales and putting pressure on statewide median prices. Florida's economic growth, rising jobs outlook and acclaimed quality of life continue to draw new residents eager to call the Sunshine State home."
There is an article in The Palm Beach Post on Monday that talks about the "Draw of ecotourism growing in North County". Anyone who lives here will tell you that we "love where we live" because there is an un-limitless number of days available for "hiking, biking, boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, snorkeling, diving, etc etc etc..." mainly because the average year round temperature in Florida is 84 degrees. Yeah, we get those tropical rain storms that usually pass by in 15 minutes, but for the most part, what more could you ask for? Looking to make Florida your next home? We would love to help!! #loveFlorida #livewhereyouvacation
